Granola

Granola was invented in the US and was primarily consumed by backpackers as a convenient, energy-dense snack. Now, everyone seems to enjoy some form of granola!

The building blocks of granola are typically oats, which are a whole grain and a source of fiber and plant-based proteins. Whole grains tend to keep you feeling full longer than other grains, so eating granola for breakfast could keep you going until lunch time!

If you would like to try making your own granola, find the recipe we tested below! And if you try it yourself, be sure to take a picture and tag us on social media @sosflkeys!
