Chef Abigails CSA Cooking Class
On January 28th, we hosted a wonderful cooking class at our SOS Callahan Community Kitchen , with 18 participants joining us for an evening of learning and delicious food! 🍲✨ Chef Abigail Houff led the class, preparing a flavorful, comforting stew that everyone got to enjoy. It was the perfect winter day to gather in the kitchen, learn new skills, and watch a step-by-step demonstration on how to recreate the dish at home. All the ingredients we used in this cooking class
Christmas Baking Prep - Cooking Class
In December, we were delighted to welcome Chef Angelica and a wonderful group of children to our monthly cooking class to celebrate the holiday season and get excited for Santa’s visit! Each child created their own festive ornament filled with all the ingredients needed to bake cookies for Santa at home—a fun and memorable holiday activity for the whole family. Participants also made their own hot chocolate spoons and learned how to melt chocolate, add their favorite toppings


MLK Day Fueled by Community, Service, and Breakfast
Every year, our MLK Day of Service is a reminder of why we do this work, and this year felt especially meaningful. When we started planning our annual MLK Day project, we knew we wanted to do something both practical and intentional.
